Born in Little Rock, Arkansas in 1976 to a computer programmer father and a visual artist mother I was encouraged to use computers and to make and appreciate art from my earliest days. Combining the two disciplines, art making and computing, has always felt like the natural thing to do. And my art often plays at the intersection of technology and the natural world. In creating, I combine all the disparate elements of my upbringing, education, and current interests to produce art that explores and explains our modern condition. Critique of new media, programming, and participation are all integral parts of my artistic practice.
